Iconic Disney Channel Holiday Episodes

As I stated in my Iconic Disney Channel Halloween Episodes article, Disney Channel owned my entire childhood. I grew up as a Disney fanatic in general so it’s not surprising how much I loved Disney Channel. The air is getting cold and Thanksgiving is past us now so it’s time to crank the excitement for the rest of the holiday season. To get you excited for the holidays, I wanted to compile a list of iconic Disney Channel Christmas episodes. Let’s get into this.

Here are iconic Disney Channel Christmas episodes.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (2005-2008)

Season 1, Episode 21: “Christmas at the Tipton”

Premise

It’s Christmas. Everybody gets snowed in the hotel while the twins help deliver a baby in one of hotel elevators. Since there’s no way for the hotel to receive any oil, Arwin does what he can to keep everybody warm.

My Thoughts

Similar to Ghost of 613, this episode is iconic and was a huge part of my childhood.

The Suite Life on Deck (2008-2011)

Season 3, Episode 15: “A London Carol”

Premise

When London refuses to help out with a charity event, she’s visited by ghosts.

My Thoughts

I’m going to be honest. I don’t remember this episode. It’s not that it was bad. I genuinely don’t remember it. I think it’s safe for me to say that I love the original series more than this series.

Hannah Montana (2006-2011)

Season 3, Episode 5: “Killing Me Softly With His Height”

Premise

Miley meets a guy at the mall and agrees to go on date with him. It backfires when she realizes that he’s shorter than her.

My Thoughts

Looking back at the premise of this episode, it was kind of dumb but I mean it’s Disney channel. It’s not that surprising. Miley was so mean to the guy she agrees to go out with when she finds out that he’s shorter than her.

Season 4, Episode 5: “It’s the End of Jake as We Know It”

Premise

Hannah is taping a Christmas special with Sheryl Crow and slowly learns from Lilly and Oliver that Jake might have cheated on her.

My Thoughts

Now this episode is iconic. If you are or were a fan of Hannah Montana, you know how toxic Jake and Miley were. I loved them in the beginning but they really screwed up his character down the road. This episode was the last straw for me. Sheryl Crow guest stars. It’s just a good episode.

Lizzie McGuire (2001-2004)

Season 1, Episode 7 “Here Comes Aaron Carter”

Premise

When singer Aaron Carter is town, Lizzie, Miranda, and Gordo decide to sneak onto his music video set.

My Thoughts

I don’t remember much of this episode if I’m being honest. I haven’t seen it in years.

Kim Possible (2002-2007)

Season 2, Episode 16 “A Very Possible Christmas”

Premise

After receiving a Hanukkah gift from Kim, Ron decides to go her mission for her to allow Kim to take a break. It backfires and Ron get stuck on the North Pole with Dr. Drakken. This leads Kim into a search for him getting some unexpected help along the way.

My Thoughts

I love this episode. Dr. Drakken and Shego are my favorite villains from the show. I love the camaraderie between Ron and Dr. Drakken. They’re hilarious together.

Phineas and Ferb (2007-2015)

Season 2, Episode 22: “Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation!”

Premise

Phineas and Ferb turn the city of Danville into a giant thank you card to Santa Claus because they believe that he doesn’t get appreciated enough. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz uses one of his inators which puts the entire city of Danville on Santa’s naughty list.

My Thoughts

I haven’t seen this one but I love the song, Thank You Santa by Mitchel Musso. It brings back so many memories.

That’s So Raven (2003-2007)

Season 1, Episode 19: “Escape Claus”

Premise

When Raven has a vision of opening her Christmas present early. This results in her taking it out of the house and breaking it before she can return it. Meanwhile, Victor and Tanya bribe Cory to wear an elf suit.

My Thoughts

I need to watch this one again. I love That’s So Raven but I don’t remember this episode that much.

Sonny With a Chance (2003-2007)

Season 2, Episode 22: “A So Random! Holiday Special”

Premise

This special episode is just So Random! sketches, no breaks. Chad Dylan Cooper hosts.

My Thoughts

Again, I don’t remember this episode. I was a big fan of Sonny With a Chance in the beginning but lost interest later on.

Girl Meets World (2014-2017)

Season 1, Episode 16: “Girl Meets Home for the Holidays”

Premise

Cory’s parents and Shawn come to visit for Christmas. Topanga attempts to impress Cory’s mom with her cooking skills while Riley attempts to build a relationship with Shawn.

My Thoughts

I love this episode. It gives me all the feels and it’s so funny. I love Cory and Shawn’s friendship and how it mirrors Riley and Maya’s. I think this is one of my favorite episodes from the show.

Final Thoughts

Well, there you have it. I hope this list brought back some nostalgia and made you want to rewatch your favorite holiday episodes.

Thank you so much for reading!
